Not a great deal happening so here are a few links. These are some author’s sites that might be interesting. I love a good read and don’t mind if it is long or short. I have read the Anna Ciddor Viking books and enjoyed them.

Phil Cummings wrote The Great Jimbo James. This is one of the titles on the SOLO range. A great set of books for young readers who want “chapter books”.

Recently I used The Phantom Tollbooth with a grade 4 group and they enjoyed it. I only read extracts from it as I was using as the initial focus for a number exploration activity. They enjoyed the play on words that Juster used throughout the book.
